Niall James Horan

 

Niall James Horan was born 13 September 1993 in the town of Mullingar, Westmeath in Ireland, the son of Maura Gallagher and Bobby Horan. [3] He has an older brother named Greg.  His parents divorced when he was five years old. He and his brother lived with each of their parents in a few years, until he decided to move with his father in Mullingar. His mother has remarried and lives in Edgeworthstown, Longford. Prior to participation in the X-Factor, he appeared regularly in your home country, including as heating singer Lloyd Daniels in Dublin. Horan has played guitar since he was 12 years old. In an interview he referred to his guitar as "the best Christmas gift I have ever received."  

During the audition for X-Factor he said "... I am 16 years old and I want to become a big name like Beyonce and Justin Bieber. I've been compared to him a few times and I do not think there are any bad comparison. I want to perform at the sold-out stadium, record albums and work with some of the best musicians in the world. " Furthermore," As a child I played always on the nearest instrument, and I loved the music. "He also said that he is a "big swing-fan", and mentioned, among others, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Michael Bublé. Horan also mentioned rock music and is a fan of The Eagles, Bon Jovi and The Script. [7] In addition, also mentioned his musician Ed Sheeran. When Sheeran and One Direction collaborated on the song "Moments" to the debut album, he stated that it was an honor to work with him.
